Youth Facilitator

ANEDREANNE WANJIRU

I am the Youth Facilitator for LDSKCF, and in this role, I assist the Youth Events Coordinator, Hope, with organizing and facilitating various group projects and events for the youth. I work alongside Hope to ensure that our events are not only fun and engaging but also meaningful, impactful, and aligned with the needs of our young members. Whether it's planning workshops, coordinating activities, or supporting youth-led initiatives, my goal is to help create a safe and encouraging space for young people to grow, learn, and connect with each other. I’m passionate about empowering our youth to find their voices and build their confidence, all while fostering a sense of unity within the community.

Outside of my work with the LDSKCF youth, I have a deep personal commitment to giving back. I absolutely love cooking, and I often use this skill to bring people together, whether it's for an event or as a way to share something I enjoy with others. In addition to my passion for cooking, I’m deeply involved in charity work, particularly in raising awareness and providing support for orphaned children under the age of five in Kenya. I’m always looking for ways to contribute to my community and help those in need, and this cause is especially close to my heart. I actively work to raise awareness, collect donations, and offer support to these young children, ensuring they have the care, food, and education they deserve.

Through both my role as a Youth Facilitator and my personal outreach work, I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of young people. Whether it’s by assisting with community events, encouraging youth leadership, or supporting causes that directly benefit vulnerable children, I am committed to making a difference. I believe that by working together and giving back, we can create a stronger, more compassionate community for everyone.
